I picked running

- sucks tremendously
- boring in the winter, kinda boring in the summer
- just yourself, my friend

BUT, I always got my feet and I'm probably not gonna Eliptical or Row away from a cop so I figured getting good at running would be nice

ride bikes if you live near a good place to ride a bike. otherwise find a long hill or a stadium of some sort near you and run up and down it 20 times

much like anime, it will fill you with regret and make you hurl, but on the plus side it's extremely good cardio and it's over in 4 minutes

basically you just go balls to the wall hard as you can for 20 seconds, rest for 10, then repeat 8 times total

Sounds totally awful. I've never thrown up from exercise and that seems... Good?

Just run OP. With good music and maybe a weed edible or two it's real fun

Back during my hockey days, at the start of the season I'd occasionally puke during practice when coach had us doing kamikaze and kamikaze and I hadn't stayed in shape over the warm months.

Try doing 10 seconds on/20 off, and increase it to 15/15 and 20/10 when it feels comfortable well, it's never going to feel comfortable, increase it when you don't feel like you're going to die after interval #6..

The one upside of the storm and cold snap hitting the northeast right now is that the ski mountains should get/be able to make a significant amount of snow. I've not had a chance this season and in the next week or two I'm definitely hitting the slopes.

I'm just now reading this thread for the first time and I'd like to reiterate this for the new year. yeah but progressive overload is the key to muscle growth so you should be focusing on gaining weight so they get harder

if you're already doing chins, weighted chins are recommended. its well worth getting a belt imo. but a backpack can be OK

Im still kinda cutting at the moment. Would like to drop another 10lbs or so to ~180ish

I do have a weight belt at the gym tho so ill clamp some weight on there as they get easier.

Yeah i was sitting at around 220 in mid summer. Now like 6 mo later im down 30lbs and everyones like "OMG howd you do it?! How can I do that???"

Yeah losing weight is pretty easy, you just have to actually be assed.

im around 220 pounds when my slim weight is around 200 but I am wondering if I should just start eating loads to stay at 220 and become a muscle freak

e: 5k time is down from 37min to 34min, progress. Homing in on that 30min 5k

I need to play games with my own head to keep in the right mindset to not be lazy. Like surrounding myself with threads like this and training videos. Has to become a lifestyle or I fall off the wagon.
