Just seems odd to me, being that ringworms are smaller and not all that uncommon in agriculture across the country. Hookworms are definitely a sewage thing, and I remember seeing something about all the poor as gently caress counties down south that can't hook up sanitation to people, and septic tanks overflow or fail all the drat time there.
