Oh my God I watched that docu last night and snapped the same clip to my friends. It was wild hearing him describe that and when he said he went home to shower I thought it was cuz he felt disgusted, instead it was because he was getting ready!

When poo poo went south they threw the head account manager under the bus and he quit. If there's anything so perfectly telling of the Fyre story its that stealing lovely memes for millions of people to like and tag their friends in can make you successful as part of this entire cycle.

It was a lot of schadenfreude, with the exception of all the Caribbean locals who got completely screwed over by yuppies. That part was just infuriating. The docs did do a good job of laying bare how hollow and alienating "influencer" poo poo is.
