The way it would be fun is build it into a camper and then non-highway road trip. It'd be the same as what we called "bus time" when I had my bay. At least double the normal trip time.

If it was a Starlet or something you could just relocate the firewall and the back seat becomes the driver seat. Easy peasy

Found a CL vehicle where the seller went hog wild with the 9's. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/d/oakland-land-rover-discovery-300-tdi/6766003321.html Dude's really proud of his non-running vehicle with hosed 300TDI engine... that needs to be replaced... but priced like it still runs. Or a courier. A minivan like that with the seats removed could carry a decent amount of small items around, or art objects or something. I've heard of jobs like where someone makes a round trip between two regional offices of a company, carrying inter-office mail, every day for years. Cheaper to employ a person and a minivan than to use a mail carrier and pay same-day mail rates.

I worked a temp summer job driving a focus station wagon all over the county picking up stuff like blood samples and biopsies from doctor's offices. Probably around 200-250 miles a day 6 days a week. The cars looked like they were in good shape but had around 200k + miles after 3 ish years.

I'm so mad Fiero guy has to do school and real life because those videos were good. I'm glad he got it running before he had to stop for a bit. Also I've been browsing Pennocks Fiero forum because I love malaise era gm apparently. There's two companies that have kits for bolting in c5 front and rear suspension. Apparently you need about 26" of front frame rail area for front and 23" of rear frame rail in back. https://www.progressiveautomotive.com/installations-kits-parts/c5c6-corvettefrontrearkit.html and Dobbertin has it where if you can just weld in some 2x4 metal frame section their kits will bolt to them.
