We paid everyone during the shutdown (and were going to pay another week) but the quarterly numbers are going to be horrific, probably close to a billion dollars in revenue just went poof. Fortunately the CEO is the golden child who can do no wrong so they'll probably spin this fine.

That your company is paying out money to people who are working when they're in fact not getting paid themselves is really good, even if it's bad for the company's financials.

More replaceable employees of contractors were basically told to gently caress off.
