Both those cars are kinda dumb too because you'd have to put a full roll cage in them to actually take them down a real track at full speed.

The grand tour game is decent for a licensed game. Graphics are late last gen level. Gameplay is competent. First two season are just the first episode. First season episode is straight up everything minus celebrity brain crash. Second season episode is pretty much everything but the tent segments and roadtest. Third season first episode has the same amount of gameplay as the first two. Almost no tent segments. And even the Detroit film is very cutdown missing the theatre history and the house segment. The Senna roadtest is replace by the mclaren 920s segment from s2 due to the unique way the game is developed. If you're on the fence on getting the game I'd definitely wait until after the special next week. My overall review so far is an alright package for $15 especially since they're doing a full package of content for each season 3 episode

So why do you have to put on all those parts yourself on the Demon? Are they not street legal or something? You'd think they could just give you the center console with the button preinstalled.

If you fall behind there’s basically no way to catch up because there’s no rubber banding and the races are so short there’s just no way to make up the distance. It’s decently funny at first with all of the voice samples while you race until you start hearing repeats. Oh and there’s no manual transmission option.

Yeah I would guess in the configuration it doesn't meet some emissions requirements at the least so they can't sell it off the lot that way. But they can give you the parts "for off road use."

I liked it. The intro cinematic makes it look like they're going to Georgia. I've lost track of how many countries I've been to and Georgia was no-holds barred the prettiest. I'm so excited for that episode. I hope they interact a bit with the locals because every Georgian man is basically Jeremy Clarkson.

I got quite irritated with the continuity errors. Jeremy asked Richard a prog rock question to get him across the bridge but it was James following him in the next episodic scene. Really fun episode. I had never heard the apparent gay stereotypes attached to Jeep Wranglers though. So that was a little weird. The bridge scene was quite nervewracking.

It was real good, mostly because it had a lot less of the usual tired pratfalls that usually accompany a TG/TGT road trip.

It was still mostly the usual tired pratfalls. I get that this is essentially what a tonne of TG fans want, a travelogue of the characters with their signature antics. I thought I would at least enjoy that, a known product of sorts, but boy howdy is it getting long in the tooth. Hearing May yell Clarkson's name for the nth time, or Hammond buying another giant custom truck for the road trip, or more casual bigotry played for comedic effect. None of it is funny anymore after being repeated ad nauseum. I hate fun and want cheap car challenges back.

Halfway through, looks like a return to form and very funny so far. I love Hammond’s piece of poo poo Murrican pickup, the 4WD Panda, all the sophomoric gay jokes gay jokes about the wrangler, and the donkey relations.

It was a good special even if it did feel like a rehash of Bolivia. Still the best one from TGT that I can recall. I'm surprised it took them this long to put Hammond of Texas in a bigly lifted truck considering the endless jokes about his height and him being a secret american.
