the corbyn antisemitism stuff is so powerful to certain sectors because it allows them to not be standing in the way of history, which they are by screaming blue murder at the same redistributive policies they championed before they were actually possible instead they can be opposing racism which is always the right side of history and salvage their political self image while still opposing the only possible beneficial change to the status quo (which their own political compass tells them they should be supporting, so why aren't they? well he wants to kill all jewish people)
