Nemesis owns and I think I beat that one before I beat RE2. Honestly just excited for the RE4 switch port at this point.

mods changed my name posted:apparently the new metro game is epic store exclusive though it will honor steam pre-orders Epic poo poo out a bunch of money to get exclusivity deals to bring games to their service that doesn’t have half the features of Steam. There’s more to be pissed about than just having to open a new launcher, although that’s bad enough when you either have to leave it running or be hit by a surprise 50GB patch when you want to play the game. I suspect all that extra money will vanish once Epic has poached a few more titles.

Yeah I don't think people are quite aware of how much money Fortnite makes globally. It's grossing somewhere near a billion dollars a month, and it has like 50% margins. Epic has absolute shitloads of cash. They made 3 billion in profit off the last 6 months of 2018 alone from just that game.

Is EPIC buying exclusives? I know their cut is only 12% and the launcher may as well come preinstalled at this point.

They are - Division 2 is a paid Epic exclusive outside uPlay, same for the Rebel Galaxy sequel and the Metro sequel and probably some other big games coming out. Interestingly, this actually cuts out a lot of competitors compared to Steam releases because developers could sell Steam keys on stores like humble, greenmangaming and itch.io without giving Valve a cut.

I don't think the fortnite demographic particularly lines up the eastern European suffering demographic. You basically just told a bunch of die hard nerds who are probably legit waiting for hl3 that you're gonna go join this thing they've probably been making GBS threads on daily. Not wise marketing decision imo.

Really my only complaint is that with some games (SMO specifically but I’m sure there are others) you’re kind of stuck using the detached controllers or else you lose a bunch of Mario’s abilities due to motion controls. You can still beat the game but going from detached to traveling with it makes you feel gimped.

There’s only one move in SMO that you cant also do with a controller and it’s not necessary for any of the moons in the game iirc. I played the vast majority of the game with the attached controls. The hat spin throw is a real pain in the dick though

if you use a pro controller you can hat spin by shaking the controller ps buy a pro controller

ok ya as someone that has never played a Kingdom Hearts game, besides being flashy, the game sucks imo. I know I shouldn’t be surprised That’s my hot take anyway. I know a convoluted story is to be expected. At least give me some more final fantasy characters or theme songs idk. It’s pretty much an action RPG on rails for a kid to play. Nostalgia is a helluva thing for some older RE without tank controls does sound dope tho

The switch ported Super Mario Bros. feels very right. I feel like it's illegal not to play it with the switch. Also it's good. Not SMO obviously, but still.

Yeah I hate how much hype there is around that poo poo. A Subnautica expansion would make me really happy right now but playing most single-player games in early access is a really lame way to experience them.
