Is it bad that I kinda want to see her hook up with the trans girl? Like, it seems like she's dealing with lots of internalized homophobia and may be in denial about her own orientation. So from her perspective, even though Mogu doesn't look, act, or feel like a boy, as long as she tells herself they're a boy she can date them and it totally isn't gay. So she sees Mogu as the only 'boy' she could possibly date, because the alternative is admitting that she doesn't want to date boys at all.

That'd be kinda cute, considering she immediately latched onto her (the trans girl who's name escapes me) being "okay" because she was a "real girl" and not just a "girlboy" or whatever; Even if being accepting of trans people doesn't seem to jive with her general beliefs on a conscious level, she's okay with it even if she hasn't really connected the dots on how that's kind of dissonant. I don't think we've seen why she doesn't like guys but all in all she might be upset at herself the most on some level, because of how she's "wrong" and not thinking/feeling the way she's supposed to and doesn't know how to deal with that, but that might be me projecting. That said who knows what the author thinks.. This manga is so slowwww.

Maybe because it's monthly? It's been moving pretty quick. There's only been 9 chapters and we've established and resolved like 3 or 4 different sources of drama that could normally be drawn out to 10+ each.
