The anthropomorphic personifications of self doubt and overconfidence should both suffocate in the hard vacuum of space while doing something highly ironic.

im trying to explain the various knight orders to someone who has never read the comic and i feel only slightly less obscure than someone doing a deep dive into KOTOR lore

Try reading the Cultist Simulator thread. People talking about that game literally sound like they are crazy, so, mission accomplished I guess.

Geas Knights are Lancelot; Peregrine Knights are Canterbury Tales knight; Mendicant Knights are kung fu show protagonists; Belligerent Knights are RPG protagonists A Wizard of Goatse fucked around with this message at 17:28 on Feb 8, 2019 |

Knights Belligerent include Khorne Berserkers, the Black Knight from Monty Python, and specific Dragonball characters who let their opponents power up for a better challenge.

V. Illych L. posted:wot's all dis den Cultist Simulator is a plate spinner game where you put cards into action slots. You pick up things that have lore values on them and use them to power your spells basically. Since most of the real action happens in a crazy dream world, a lot of the descriptions start making very little sense.

It's a good game; I've got all the standards, some of the weird ghoul ones, and Advabced Grail, but I just haven't had time to chase Forge or Lantern recently.

Seems like Allison is stuck between two mentors with diametrically opposed philosophies, "respect your arts" or "make your arts respect you." She's currently stuck trying to find a balance between the two. The problem here is that it hasn't clicked for her that true Royalty's answer is not "or" but "and". (And that's probably where Auntie Maya comes in.)

# ? Feb 9, 2019 19:51 |
|
Right now, Allison is training on the assumption that increased skill will make her life easier and happier and that she will be more in charge of the power she wields. Auntie Maya will disabuse her of that.
