Setting aside the fact that prison is fundamentally unjust, any halfway decent prison will have some sort of education/work skills training scheme. The problem is the white saviour mentality not the fact that the women are in prison. They're just providing these women a fairly basic opportunity that should be available to them anyway, and making a huge profit on their backs. So like, it's not some ethical miracle, but nor is it any more or less exploitative than any other labour and I guess they should be commended for paying a decent wage and sharing a little bit more of their profits than they need to?
