Yes, chan boards aren't designed for security, the only thing standing between you and impersonating someone successfully is being able to guess a password that will produce the same "tripcode" hash. Back on 4chan, the password was successfully guessed several times and there were just random excuses for how new Q posters were totally the real one not a hacker.
