I love Out Our Way to begin with, but the "Born Thirty Years Too Soon" strips are especially fascinating. It's incredibly cool to see the transition from the turn of the century to the twenties and thirties from the perspective of someone who lived through both, particularly since I don't think the idea of decades having their own individual character was as culturally ingrained as it's become today.
