Didn't see the actual "death", but, barring a New Hijack twist (which would be amazing and also appropriate given him being a brain and perfect for a "right brain left brain" gimmick), he's probably gone. Not sure about the others off the top of my head though.

My best guess for getting away with not killing him was the fact that his dad didn't give him a timeframe but I guess when you're given an order you have to carry it out immediately. He told Cody to kill Hijack but he didn't say today or now or before you leave school or anything, that could'be been basically ignored forever if the rules were loose enough.
