You arrest Don Jr at the last possible moment knowing that doing so probably means the termination of your investigation within 24 hours.

You drop the report at 9am and have someone waiting outside wherever Junior is. And whoever else, J-Kush and/or Ivanka, etc.

The docs are in, but they don’t explicitly ask for a certain sentence. They lay out all the poo poo Manafort did as context for his sentencing.

But my imaginary coins have a speculated value that is really high! I mean sure if I actually try and sell my fake money the only people who will buy it are people like me who will only buy it at a massive discount compared to that speculation price and if I sell too much at once I can crash the entire market but on paper I am speculated to be rich! I have to keep mining!

The UK government is as dumb as the US but minus the global empire worth of wealth to back it up.

That's the problem the UK is facing. They kept the attitude but lost the power to back it up.

I mean, it MIGHT have been about adoptions, but that actually would probably be just as bad. The Magninski Act enacted huge sanctions aimed at Russian oligarchs, and Russia responded by banning Americans from adopting Russian children. "Adoptions" was supposed to be a legal discussion topic that masked the illegal possibly treasonous one, which was shadowy backdoor international negotiations proposing sanctions relief in return for Russia's help to Trump in the campaign. It was a spectacularly stupid smokescreen since it was basically the exact thing he was being accused of.

This is why the guy who broke the story wrote: "I spent months investigating this and he just... tweeted it out."

I'm surprised no one ever talks about this.

A single transaction costs like $20 (and rising), and then you've got to convert into bitcoin and back.

Banks and payment processors can blacklist legal industries they find morally dubious (pornography and marijuana) and a convertible alternative currency is the most simple workaround. Also doesn't work with marijuana because transactions are still tightly regulated where legal. That's literally the only edge case I can think of and does not require the sleeve currency to be crypto.

That part did, crashing Nvidia stock on the way. Miners have moved away from GPUs to ASIC hardware.

Edit: though apparently most ASIC hardware isn't even efficient enough to make money anymore because the energy costs more than your potential yield.

Semantically, "you" is both singular and plural, though syntactically it is always plural. It always takes a verb form that originally marked the word as plural.

Also, there is no plural when the context is an argument with an individual rather than a group. Somfin shouldn't put words in my mouth.
