Rumor is if you go from a Pokémon to a shiny version of the same Pokémon on the next set of photos it will photobomb. Worked for me but who knows if it’s just coincidence.

I was able to get my first after a few photos yesterday, and a second on the first photo I tried today. Different pokemon with each, and didn't need to switch them out.

Finally got it after switching out different Pokemon instead of taking 100s of the same mon. Don't know if this was mentioned, but apparently you can TM a Smeargle. It's a bug that'll be fixed after the next update according to Niantic. Also the move pool for the TM is every move, so you have no idea what you'll get.

Got my Smeargle after about 30-40 photos or so (before I knew about needing to do the first photo). Hooray, he photo bombed MewTwo with Focus Blast! Then I caught him and he had 10 CP

Had some really nice POGO luck with raids today. Caught my first ever Latias which was a perfect 100%. Then the group I was with did a second raid and I ended up getting a shiny Latias. Thanks game!

today i learned that my double ice move mew is really good in the unlimited cp battles. that poor dragonite didn't even know what hit him. in fact if you're lucky enough to have a mew with any two moves of the same typing i bet it's prolly real good in pvp since your opponent will have absolutely no idea what it has until you use it. So with Smeargle, is the trick to go to Items and then use the camera, or select a Pokemon in your bag and use the icon to photograph it from there? Several hundred photos so far, still no wet dog.

Have they got rid of the naming trick for Eevee? Im only just getting back into the game after a while and just tried to "evolve an Eevee into Espeon during the day" but got 2 Jolteons in a row despite using Sakura as the name.
