That new front page was a bold attempt at parodying "we can show you a real egg, can others" but it's a tough goal to parody something that's already so amazing. It kind of went a bit like Kung Pow: Enter The Fist where the real serious movies it was trying to parody are sillier and funnier than the parody.

Other things it is hard to parody: modern politics, korean pop bands, the smell of a skunk, eighties Jean Claude Van Damme movies.

fun fact, mini horses are becoming increasingly popular as service animals, in large part because they have long lifespans (40+ years sometimes) and because people who benefit from having a service animal don't run into as many false assumptions that it's just a pet they want to bring everywhere
