in 1987, the Soviets built the Baku, a Kiev-class aircraft carrier. After the USSR fell, it was renamed the Admiral Gorshkov, and served under the Russian state until 1996, when it was decommissioned. The Indians bought it from the Russians in 2004, and rechristened it the Vikramaditya. That's how old that ship is that just makes it slightly younger than the HMS Ark Royal
