And yeah the edited photos look 'wrong' because he didn't just do up the colors, he did some kind of hosed up brightness curve that looped back on itself somewhere along the line, so the light sources like the lighting on the mirror or the lens flares or the dappling on the floor has a weird dark valley halfway through the gradient. Look at the light sources: And compare raw ones without hosed up editing:
