The problem is that unless you gently caress up really badly, or are going out and wilfully doing things that are orders of magnitude more negligent than Jerry there, getting a license revoked is often a long and arduous bureaucratic process (unless you get a DUI lol, then you're instafucked). Suspensions are much easier for the regulator to hand out, and honestly they can have a profound effect on your ability to fly an aircraft anyway. Getting insurance if you have a suspension can be a VERY expensive proposition.

As someone who is about to be flying that fleet, I really hope it was pilot error.I would blow Dane Cook posted:How important is a properly calibrated stall warning anyway? I’d be willing to bet he lacks the knowledge/understanding that a stall horn is only calibrated for max gross on a standard day and that’s why he thinks it’s wrong. That and being light raises Vmc while lowering the stall speed. This guy is just amazing. Stories will be told of him for years to come when he eventually augers in. And it’ll all be in 4K video from multiple angles. I just hope he doesn’t Vmc into my house or myself when I’m out and about, I live under where a lot his flying is. e.pilot fucked around with this message at 01:44 on Mar 3, 2019 |

I used to fly GOINK (601NK) until we changed air wings to one with an NE tail code (which did give us GOONE for 600 in return). I can't find a good pic of it online but it's written in huge letters on the top of the wing, which shows up when you fold them back. I'll have to dig through my photo archive to see if I have one that shows it.

"Apollo 11" ruled. It was breathtaking in actual IMAX, but fair warning for people who get motion sickness in movies - the movement is pretty jerky at times and it's really apparent during pans when they were using 16fps film.
