I'm still annoyed that the Packers never got to face the Brady Patriots in the Super Bowl. 2007, 2011, 2014 all should've been Packers-Patriots Super Bowls but the team collapsed in incredibly embarrassing ways.

From what I can tell there's the Landy/OBJ LSU connection, the Browns WR coach was his coach with the Giants, and the usual "stars working out together in the offseason".

Also the Giants are a tire fire and a mid-1st round pick seems like reasonable compensation if he were to be traded.

The Browns have an actual QB now and infinite cap space, so they're a completely legitimate landing spot for a FA WR now. At least in the sense of "no stupider than your normal offseason speculation."

And I’m not sure I’m interested in the color analyst side of things yet,” Thomas said. “I’m actually really enjoying the radio gig, and some of the pregame and studio-type analyst stuff that I’m doing (on television). So, I won’t be going back to football — I can guarantee you that — and I’m pretty happy with the (media) things I’m doing right now.

Well Joe doesn’t know how he’ll be received nationally, right? I don’t blame him for not having interest in risking his reputation at this stage. He’s got a good thing going and is learning how the reporting side of things can go at a lower level. I bet once his feet are thoroughly wet he’ll move up.
