I think I remember that one? A creepy photographer guy named Nick Katzenberg took a picture through the skylight of MJ taking shots of Peter in costume and jumped to the entirely rational conclusion of 'hey, Parker's not actually taking pictures of Spider-man, just faking them! Bet I can do some sweet blackmail!'

I forgot about the webwings so looked up some early Spidey stuff and found the first comic he was on the cover of.

Really fitting that in his literal first appearance he is thinking out-loud and being bad at secret identities.

I must have seen this image dozens of times, and I've never noticed the people on the building in the background before.

Either that guy in the dark green shirt has Spider-powers of his own, or he's about to take a pretty bad tumble. Maybe Reed Richards will save him?

Yeah and it was interesting because it was kind of like he was getting in trouble for what he does all the time but in a weirder, roundabout way.

This is actually Spider-man's cunning plan to trick MJ into letting them fight.

It'll be the best idea he ever had, until he trips over Killgrave and rips open the hibernation blanket.

It might just be phrased oddly, but it kind of sounds like they're planning on replacing Spider-Man with some kind of anthology type thing where each story will have a different protagonist?

Spidey's history both in this strip and in comic series like Marvel Team-up have had him meeting basically every character ever so maybe not.

FN Spider-Man has been good so far, so it'll probably get rolled into a lovely crossover then canceled.

According to this interview, Roy Thomas started doing a ghostwriting collab with Stan Lee 19 years ago, and Lee stopped working on it entirely a couple years ago (though he retained his interest in the strip until the end).
