US News rankings are out I guess. Shockingly Cooley is not ranked. I would have thought they would be #2 with Yale or whatever, or at least in the low 200s. Is this like some kind of protest where they don't even submit to the clearly flawed and biased rankings of US News?

Cooley's there. They are just "Rank Not Published", which means "bottom quarter" (somewhere between 144 and 201).

Kinda? All I paid was tuition which is like 50 freedom bucks a year, paid for my books which is like ten times that, sold my undivided soul to Satan as per the usual agreement and gave like... five blowjobs to faculty and that was it.

I do have student loans to cover cost of living though, near half of which was converted to a scholarship when I graduated. Got maybe like $40 000 left?

No it's literally just 50 bucks a semester. Half of that to finance the student orgs as a co-pay.

Ah I see, you tried the puffin.

Well, it's loving expensive as hell to run? That's the trouble with public higher education in socialist utopia. There literally isn't a private alternative, you can't pay more and it's the same absolutely everywhere.

Let me put it this way, I can tell you for absolutely certain that it's ranked among the top three in the country. This I guarantee.

he should probably rack up even more medical debt trying to get as much fixed as possible, and then declare for bankruptcy, because he can only do it like every seven years

then he should move to canada with his canadian wife

or he should do that first, whatever

Probably some combination of bankruptcy to deal with the medical debt and applying for medicaid and SSI/social security disability (assuming he'd qualify) to handle future medical bills and living expenses.

Otherwise, a slow slide into homelessness as his medical debt gets turned over to collections and he is endlessly hounded. Eventually, some third party debt collector will file suit against him, get sewer service, and seize his only actual asset of value. Somethingawful.com becomes property of some sketchy Panama based LLC that specializes in "debt solutions."

As a canadian citizen, this is my backup plan. Even with the 3 month blackout period, even full fare canadian healthcare is cheaper than with bad insurance here.

More like 6 k, there was a 2 400 bucko one time donation. Probably the taxman has more expenses than that can cover still, but let's see what goons can come up with. I stil say he should get a gofundme specifically to deal with the medical stuff because that's how you've socialized your medicine grift machine.

Either that or he needs to move to Canada. Heck, Canada is pretty great, I'd move there myself if I wasn't afraid of flying hockeypucks.
