If they were indeed underage, them fuckers are going to spin this around as "proof" that the LGBT movement is full of pedophiles and "pro-pedophilia" etc, they been saying poo poo like this for a while And anyway, while funny, this thing was pretty bad for gay and queer people in Brazil. They are the ones who are going to get the backlash

Nonsense posted:Bolsonaro's family will rule Brazil for as long as they desire. https://twitter.com/OGloboPolitica/status/1103343495891308544 do not underestimate the power of gib money or we impeach u aka mugged at knifepoint by the triumphant power-centrão, even if it's still not really credible. The answer will probably be paying them off for now but then what incentive is there for them not to hold Bolsonaro's ridiculously sleazy past over his head to get even more poo poo going their way? Like in the later Dilma years, when she caved time and time again and ended up getting impeached anyway. the PSL chud mass is there to stay anyway and is clearly fractured already, and Bolso is such a complete fool he might just lose, giving way for Mourão to go full 64 thankfully the legitimate president is Zé de Abreu anyway so crisis averted

Haahaaa the portuguse paper of note reported this with "the Brazilian president has caused controversy by highlighting abuses of Carnaval" , posted the video and put like a tiny thing with how the video "could have explicit content" on it. The whole thing just screams "Ok ok we can't just say its hosed up, that would mean giving reason to lefties!" CONGRATS for having standards lower than the Toilet Paper USA staff, serious portuguese journalism.

Apparently it turns out that the video was from a gay parade... In Argentina

Actually supposedly it happened in BloCU, a small(ish) LGBTQ street parade in São Paulo. The two dudes apparently even published a manifesto, with lawyers and all, calling it a “political act” () https://www1.folha.uol.com.br/cotid...bolsonaro.shtml I’m just sad because a friend of mine actually suggested we go to that parade, but we went to another one instead. Can’t believe I missed out on history being made. The Unnamed One has issued a correction as of 11:57 on Mar 8, 2019 |

Friendly reminder that, when Marielle was murdered, Bolsonaro deliberately didn’t say anything because his opinion would be “too controversial” https://twitter.com/letrapreta/status/1105454365442297857?s=21

In a less scandalous but equally telling bit of news, there is a weird deal being made where representatives from Lava Jato have decided that the money Petrobras would have to pay for defrauding investors will instead go to a private foundation that will be set up with that money. That is weird for 3 reasons: 1- There is no provision in Brazilian law that allows for that 2- They require that at least one of the seats of the board of the foundation go to a member of Lava Jato 3- They claim, in a recent interview, that this was the only solution to settle lawsuits by American investors against Petrobras that would have allowed the money to stay in Brazil. #3 is specially weird. Members of Lava Jato claim that they negotiated with American authorities to keep the money in Brazil because otherwise it would have delegitimized Lava Jato by sending a ton of money to American investors, and they didn't want to be seen as doing the bidding of American interests. Which raises the question of why would American authorities be swayed to keep injured parties in the US uncompensated to avoid hurting Lava Jato's credibility? https://josiasdesouza.blogosfera.uol.com.br/2019/03/12/fundacao-da-lava-jato-e-solucao-nova-para-um-problema-novo-diz-dallagnol/

So I'm Portuguese and don't closely follow Brazilian news and would like to know what are the more polemic decisions Bolsonaro and his administration/closed ones have made orbeen involved with. Links to articles in Portuguese are fine. I'm interested because the far-right scares me and because I have cousins who voted for him, and I just know my family is eventually going to start seeing him in a more positive light since these cousins will push for him hard.

Question for all comrades in Brazil: Does it matter that one of the policemen had (or appeared to have had) close connections to the Bols? Will this cause his voters (or base) to distance themselves from him?

In fact, one of the criteria for the mass firings of the state department (is that how you'd call Casa Civil in English?) was if the person had published something in support of the investigation into Marielle's murder. Also, Bevins put my thoughts into words. https://twitter.com/Vinncent/status/1105483426956804097

You'll probably should look into BrasilWire and InterceptBr, and check for the videos done on the favelas of the police doing sniper practice. Which should lead then to the recent laws of absolving police from being judged on casualities and the attempt of also letting the police harvest the organs of those who were shot from the guy who tore up Marielle's sign.

It keeps galling me how long it takes for people to get that the chuds and ogres are just as vile as they have been howling to the winds that they are, for years now. It's like someone shoes up at your doorstep covered in blood and waving the carcass of your dead dog, screaming "Hey I love dog murder and my Youtube channel DogMurderPwns has 30 thousand subscribers, killing your dog was like the best thing ever!" And you still scratch your chin and go 'Hmm, I wonder what he means by that." They are literally on the record advocating for torture, murder and 'disappearance' of anyone who can even be tangentially considered an enemy, as well as legalizing the actual means to pursue those goals. The 'center' really will tolerate Bellzebub himself if it means getting all that sweet social security cash.

Thing is: they managed to convince half of the population that their enemies are "enemies of the people": communists, criminals (who, in their lie, left-wing polititians like Marielle protected), denenerates (gays. trans, people etc), they are the ones who are guilty for Brazil not being a huge Miami like they dream it should be. So its more like "hey, I murdered those poor people dog. it was a communist, and a drug dealer and a terrorist too. now Brazil is gonna be great!" On Marielle news, police found 117 assault rifles hidden by one of the killers in a friends house https://g1.globo.com/rj/rio-de-jane...utm_campaign=g1 (no one is allowed to have an assault rifle at home in Brazil, they are all illegal, and very expensive too) Also, the police chief confirmed that the killers daughter dated one of the Bolsonaro kids, but that aint being investigated (yet): https://www.valor.com.br/politica/6156673/filha-de-suspeito-em-caso-marielle-teria-namorado-filho-de-bolsonaro Bolsonaro's family ties with the militias are getting more numerous, and more weird, each day And here's a very good article on piauí (in portuguese) about Marielle, Bolsonaro and RJ militas https://piaui.folha.uol.com.br/materia/a-metastase/?fbclid=IwAR0BZdwrq6ZWtTc5rCjhG1Q11RoGEbhHsZc0j8DYisTPOs-faNGxwDXONR4 Elias_Maluco has issued a correction as of 23:25 on Mar 12, 2019 |

“Eu tenho seis filhos e tenho problemas de vez em quando. Imagina com 22 ministros”, complementou Bolsonaro, que depois teve que se corrigir, esclarecendo que, na verdade, tem cinco filhos. "I have six children and I have problems every once in a while. Imagine with 22 ministers", added Bolsonaro, later correcting himself, he actually has 5 children
