The underlying lovely "gamer culture" situation helps not at all. I should note this is a problem shared by other platforms, and it's not...entirely clear what the company can do while occupying the same market space. I guess I'd have to compare it to steam, which seems to have avoided the same active recruitment and organization situation mostly by just being unpleasant to use.
