This is so dumb. One is a highly bespoke international prototype racing series and the other is a one-make domestic series. The only ones that seem to obsess over this are the really weird really insecure IndyCar fans probably because they're American and can't fathom something non-American being considered the best in the world. This is the nation that has a domestic championship called the World Series ffs
