I tried real hard to come up with a non nerdy metal band, but really its all just hard rock, even the stuff that calls itself "hair metal" that's just hard rock in spandex and with 20% more sex

I like some metal bands but I'm not deluded enough to think they're cool Cannibal Corpse maybe but even then it's probably influenced by the fact that their guitarist had a standoff with police recently where he was all hosed up on meth while his house was burning down in the background and his ammo caches exploding, which is a pretty cool visual and pretty on point for a metal guitarist
