They are merging TL and HL. I dunno what you mean with active enough but on EU anyway the queue times have not gotten any worse since the announcement that I've noticed.

I'm of the opinion that Blizzard's obsessive need to completely and frequently re-work characters and classes in all their games is actually bad design, and not the cool open to change philosophy they think it is I have this same problem with wow; any time I go back all my characters are completely changed and I hate it. Imagine going back to a beloved fighting game and all the characters had been re-worked in the name of ~BaLaNcE~

Europe is moving to banning the sale of loot boxes period so taking them away now probably doesn't hurt. Also, they probably made more money from boosts and bundles than loot boxes in this game anyway.

I wasn't gonna play ranked at really but thought whatever let's finish TL placements for the turtle mount before merge happens. Just finished. Gold 3. 5 games and got Azmodan for all of them. A few times bans weren't even used, and when they were Diablo and Kael were banned, not my fat demon guy.

The first quest for the new event (claim 8 merc camps) gives you a 3 day boost as a reward. In case you want to get more mileage out of it and save it for the weekend.

Yeah that's what planning, I logged in after the patch hit and had time for maybe one or two games, then when I saw that reward, and knew for the next few days I'll be pretty busy, I just logged off.  Good Job Blizzard in making your player base not want to play!

Maybe I'm missing something but the new Butcher skin doesn't feel like a legendary at all. Either the advertised altered voice is so subtle so as to be meaningless or they forgot to put it in, because I couldn't pick up on it and the only meaningful graphical change is the ult you'll never take. W still uses the default graphic, too.

Leoric isn't a tank. The thing about tanking in QM is that, at least from my perspective it's the least rewarding, most unfun role/mode combination in the game. Even more than playing a healer in QM. You're expected to lead, initiate, peel, protect, kill, and do everything 110% flawlessly if you don't want instant bitching. And your team WILL bail out on you if they so much as take one auto attack, leaving you to get slaughtered by the entire enemy comp. I have a high tolerance for the oddness of QM, and even for playing healers in QM. Tanking, though, is just miserable there. Edit: Heaven forbid you get into a QM game that doesn't have healers as a tank also. You spend the entire match eating the enemy alpha strike, then either respawning or hearthing depending on if you're still alive. There's a reason Muradin is my most played tank by a mile.
