Sazae-san is the longest-running anime ever, been running since 1969 and is at around 8,000 8-minute episodes. Been going so long that for many of the first episodes there aren't any copies because the cassettes had been re-used, so if Dave has been since then, he probably has some rare Sazae-san VHS stored alongside his copy of the Magee-Hart match.
