Her Avalon is a 2003.... it's was a nice car for 1998, it was dated by 2003. Instead she wants to look at Lexus SUVs/CUVs (also she constantly bitches about the mpg in her Avalon.. the 4 banger Camry has more hp than her V6 (though a bit less torque), and cranks out 30+ mpg easily.) Why isn't she looking at another Avalon? Then again, she's probably dead-set on having a tall wagony Lexus to cruise around in. Unless she has a sudden revelation about that Camry, she'll feel like she's settling for less if she actually buys one. 90s Solo Cup fucked around with this message at 21:02 on Apr 5, 2019 |

Balliver Shagnasty posted:Why isn't she looking at another Avalon? Ironically, not looking at another Avalon because they're "too big for a car, too small for a SUV". Her 2nd gen Avalon barely fits in the garage now. It looks like she's leaning toward a Lexus NX on a 2 year lease - I believe that'd be shorter, but taller. It's the length of the car that will determine if she can get it in the garage. The Camry probably won't be an option; she's had a double hip replacement, and can't fall into a car - she already has trouble getting into her Avalon, and even the latest model Camry sits a bit lower. She's much more comfortable climbing into the car and falling out (so to speak). She refuses to get into my current car. She recently whacked 70, and she doesn't drive nearly as much anymore. So I think a low mileage lease would work well for her.
