If we're talkin bout ATG ripoffs As Blood Runs Black's first album is literally Slaughter of the Soul with breakdowns, and that rules extremely hard. We're in this weird timeline where ATG released SOTS which heavily inspired metalcore bands a few years later, which heavily inspired deathcore bands after that, and now there are melodeath bands playing melodeath inspired by metalcore/deathcore that was inspired by ATG like Light This City.

Swallow The Sun is one of my favorite bands. I usually lean towards bands that have a doom foundation because it sounds good mixed with almost anything if done right.
