Yeah I'm glad the Franks are putting up a fight against Russia. Them beating each other up gives us a better chance than the outcome I expected: hordes of grizzled but strong Russians walking across France with minimal resistance and into the Pyrenees.

They're actually weighted towards a communist revolution, since most of their pops were aligned that way at the end of vicky, but it just wasn't to be in this game. And a poo poo-ton of stuff just happened in Gharbia, but I'll go over that in the next update.

Huh, so I guess in all that time they spent isolationist, they left their army to rot. I guess that'll learn 'em to sign up for a war out of the blue. I wouldn't be surprised if they manage to get their poo poo together and muscle enough forces to start pushing the French back, but for now things are looking down for the last major bastion of democracy. It is worrying to see France doing so well, but I can't see opening up a third front in the Balkans working well for them, especially since the Egyptians are starting to be rolled back. So long as Benin doesn't flip (which no longer seems like the end of everything), then after Marrakesh falls (for like the third time?) all those troops get to come back and charge into the heart of France. Italy's almost done, Palermo probably will follow, and maybe if France starts to get stretched thin enough, maybe Ireland could start challenging them up north. They're surrounded on all sides. Also nice to see poo poo finally going down in the colonies. No idea how powerful the Raj is, or what the colonial war will be like after Marrakesh bites it. I look forward to either Ibriz invading Alaska or the French foolishly sallying forth in a fifth front against Ibriz.

The League of Monarchies have seen much better days. It looks like Morocco is likely going to get capitulated. The Russians are struggling even with their eastern front stabilized by the Japanese civil war. What are the odds of the Mongolians and Manchurians marching their troops across Russia to push back against the fascists? The Paris Pact is doing alright, and if Benin flips, then they will probably dominate most of Africa. However, I don’t think that the French can sustain their military campaigns with their massive losses. And if they get into a hellwar against the CSE immediately after this current hellwar against Russia, that works to our long term advantage. Maybe I’m being overly optimistic, but we have a good chance of flying Iberian flags over most of Western Europe. My main concern at this moment is the possibility of Gharbian intervention.
