I have no idea what the administration's angle is on this but I highly doubt that it's the stated one, especially given how weak the indictment is (according to the lawyers I follow on twitter anyway). I believe Obama's DoJ had the same information and never tried to move on it. Like I'm legit curious what the brain genoiuses at the WH are trying to do here. People are like "they're trying to create a precedent to act on" but they've never been shy about acting without one in the past.

I clicked this link thinking "wow what a dick, he should really be more supportive of her" and finished with "wow what a psycho, I'd probably hate her for it too." poo poo I don't know if I could recover from that either.
