In it's defense, that's apparently part of another renderer (straight to Unity textures) - that one project has that reference by mistake, I believe. The other project files in that folder don't have that reference, and I don't see anything in the project's code referencing Unity directly. Probably a left-over someone missed.

(single application engineer at a university library, I've been here almost 2 years and inherited a lot of dumb poo poo running on PHP 5.3). im guessing this issue actually became an issue because i moved it all to 7.1 recently and some wrinkles still show up. shouts fellow public university devs

They added (mostly) real type checking in 7 so if you haven't used it yet, you wouldn't know.
