yeah but the number 1 rule of freepers and freepy types in the US in general, when it comes to the ACW, is: The Union and Confederacy are equally good and tyrannical, depending on what exact point you're trying to make. The south did nothing wrong, and Lincoln was a tyrant, but also, the democrats were the racist party of slavery, and the heroic republican Abraham Lincoln saved the country, learn some history, but Robert E. They'd support states' rights to own slaves, and oppose states' rights to free slaves. I still remember chatting with my middle school math teacher when he insisted the Civil War was about States' Rights, not slavery. At the time, I didn't understand what that meant. Now looking back it makes me sad, because he was one of my favorite teachers.

You basically hit all of the important parts, but also remember that the confederate conatitution specifically had an article banning any state from getting rid of slavery. That's literally the opposite of state's rights.
