I have no idea how that game plays but playing a ragdolly game where you're trying to get your friend to "no, sit down, drink some water. No we're not going to... Please don't touch that. No, bathroom is the other way. Look, just..." would be great. Edit: Fail states include breaking too much stuff, allowing friend to tearfully call ex at 2AM Glagha fucked around with this message at 21:15 on Apr 9, 2019 |

I always wonder who the hell these people are too. Especially the those who just give away money to seemingly anyone. Even if they barely stream at all.

One of my coworkers is a Twitch streamer and it's all he talks about. I think people need royalty in their lives. When there is no royalty, they hang onto other people of a higher perceived status, like a celebrity or Twitch streamer.

I think it's just high schoolers spending their highly disposable income on people they think are entertaining. When I was in high school it was Bam Margera and Johnny Knoxville only they had to go through the trouble of making full length movies or a cable show. Same concept, more widely available.

I don't really care about twitch but I only realized how much streamers make and why the platform took off after watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6m5P_n5njCQ It's pretty informative.

I can't fault a twitch streamer for finding a way to make money at something they enjoy and are (usually) good at. I can, however, fault them for their toxic personalities and ideologies where present.

Gary Larson got it right, he just put it 10 years too early. Nice video, kudos to the streamer for the transparency. I haven't really seen that anyone else at that tier is even willing to mention numbers.

So, I guess this is alright because it's the same "we know what we're doing" tone of porn parodies. Flesh Gordon, etc. "Look out Flesh, they're DYKES!" and the sophisticated talking Harryhausen giant horny monster and so forth. Surprisingly the incredibly NSFW trailer is on YouTube. e: Okay, the trailer opens up with the line, "From the studio that got banned from Patreon for making a game about a werewolf eating a girl's butthole." I'm sure the game itself is terrible but the dudes making it are alright. ee: Yeah, that trailer is legitimately hilarious. Dark_Swordmaster fucked around with this message at 03:23 on Apr 15, 2019 |

Not going to lie, the trailer and description got a few laughs out of me. At least the studio knows what it's doing and keeps the tone silly.

They're facing a trademark lawsuit as well, and the guy who retained a lawyer has a case due to SEO (search engine optimization) being seriously damaging to his brand, and it's also strongly muddied by Studio FOW being in the UK and Tim Pool being in the US. As for their project they're really banking a lot on the fact they've produced porn clips that are a step above the usual SFM fare graphically speaking, and I think a lot of ambitious designers have the notion in their minds that being voice acted makes the porn automatically better somehow. Their kickstarter goals were pretty lackluster too. but i look forward to seeing people who've never designed a game try to mix shmup gaming with xcom. then again you can't really fail as bad as Chris Roberts in that regard Lunethex fucked around with this message at 08:12 on Apr 15, 2019 |

Yeah, I'm not about to buy it and I'm hesitant to use the word "excited," but I'm happy to see this thing coming out and attempting to have at least a quarter of a real game in it and knowing exactly what it is and who it's for. It looks like a quality and entertaining product in a terrible genre.
