icr is a little doom and gloom on it. Basically its potentially going to be paytowin hell.

If that miraculously doesnt happen then it's going to be a mediocre arpg with some interesting endgame progression mechanics

I cant say the alpha was very impressive at all.

That’s actually spot on. I used the top quote verbatim recently as a matter of fact. The results were as you expect.

Here’s the deal:

1) Division 2, excellent game about math, a lover’s tryst where Highest Common Denominator meets Lowest Common Denominator and they make fractions together, is very cool and good. It is very cool and good and worth every penny.

2) Terchlight Frontiers, a game about two classes in an ACME setting and a be-bopping robot who shoots pixeled rockets, is a video game and the developers are very unsure how this game was made. They typed in some code, got some error screens a lot and then when they didn’t get one, they went with that. It’s just a bunch of typing and seeing what sticks. It will cost $0 to play but you may want to save your money on this one.

3) Marvel Heroes: Still under server maintenance. Been down for over a year. Can’t wait for the patch notes. Keep it installed.

4) Battlefront 2: It’s our next game we are doing for Game Night. Is it any good? Is it any bad? Nobody truly knows. I guess it’s went through a massive overhaul and one of the biggest changes to this game that has the community excited is they changed the price of the game. The game went through an update yesterday where it went from full price down to $4.50 on Origin. We are doing some giveaways for the game in celebration of the new update that made this game $4.50 on Origin so we are going to do a game night for it.

5) Mortal Combat 11: This looks very cool and I preordered it. I will not actually play it as I am playing Math Game 2, a game about sleuth agents who fight in Washington’s District in Columbia (DC for short for those who play) and test the theory of relativity and maybe the quadratic formula have you even seen this thing? It’s got letters and numbers and one of those big checkmarks you see used on food labels my god who actually came up with this stuff. Either way, youre squirrelly agents of mayhem (sorry Voltron or Volition or Volunteerism, I can’t recall the devs names) are on the case. Mortal Combat 11 owns. It’s gonna rock. You should buy it but not for full price. It’s 28% off on GMG with code FATALITY

6) Borderlands 3: Three Strikes and You’re Out

7) Halo Infinite and MCC: The actual next game(s) I’m excited for. Nostalgia wins. And it’s all coming to PC as part of God’s plan. God’s plan. And you know me. Turned and Oh-6 into an Oh-3. I don’t know the words. Gods plan

What am I doing wrong? I want to play it and love it but I loving hate it.

Probably your d3 adhd.

Diablo 3 Is a good game if you're cool with it having the play time of a call of duty single player campaign.

I'm willing to entertain that it's in large part due to it, but I also found that having to do inventory tetris as well as look at dozens of stats by hand in that game's not-very-good-at-all interface made it more cumbersome than it was worth.

I've seen videos/gifs in the Grim Dawn thread of extremely powerful builds doing amazing things but, just like PoE, it appears as though that's late game only and you have to suffer through a slog to get to it.

The save editors are easy to use. If you want you can easily hack together a mule for transporting XP bonus potions (+100%, doesn't stack) to your community chest so you can halve the leveling time for your toons and quickly get to unlocking skills.

Dark_Swordmaster

I mean, at that point why bother playing? I'm already in that boat, why cheat to get in the same spot?

I just need the Kickstarter for this to make its goal.

:wrong: I wasn't talking about the campaign at all. you can get all geared out and nothing left to do but higher greater rifts in the same amount of time I can get through a cod campaign. 12-20 hours. Idk about you but an arpg is supposed to have way more staying power then that.

Yea, you aren't going to have all the knowlege or gear to do a crazy build right away. But not everyone wants to be an invincible walking God as soon as they boot up the game like diablo 3 players.

I'm not even opposed to that. Actual progression would be a welcome thing but in all of my runs I spend 6 to 8 hours feeling like an extremely low level character not able to do anything cool or interesting.
