Worst birthday ever.! Gf is f***ing another guy. I'm having the worst birthday ever in my life. I have been dating this girl that we are going to call Janet. Janet and I have meet in university, when we both graduated. I moved to England and Janet went to her home city New York. We have been trying long distance for almost a year and a half. I haven't seen her for all that time. She was supposed to come last summer but couldn't due to her grandmother passing. Towards the end of last year she was very distant. A month ago she told me she wants to end things because she needs to work on some issues, but this was after she had bought a plane ticket to come visit me for 2 weeks. We fought over the phone because she thought it's not ok for us to live 2 weeks together since we are no longer together. At the end she finally decided to come. She has been her for 3 nights now and tonight I had a talk with her and asked her if there was anyone else, she said no. She fell asleep and I couldn't hold back and I went through her phone. I saw messages from another guy and she is calling him babe, sending him nudes and from their language they have had sex. I've been faithful and this is what I get.!!! I'm laying in bed next to her. Wondering if I should talk to her or just play it out and enjoy the rest of her trip and talk to her towards the end. I'm so angry, sad, abused and disrespected. Girlfriend upset I won’t advance her career , uncomfortable situation thinking about ending it. I’ve (25M)Been dating this girl (22F)for about 5 months and she makes music and I work at a record label , my job is to find new artists and bring demos to my bosses. Obviously she wants me to make that connection for her but her music sucks and is some of the worst music I’ve ever heard not exaggerating. It’s put a weird tension in our relationship cause she believes her music is amazing zero self awareness. I just can’t present that to my boss and I would lose all Credibility and become a joke in the office if they learned I presented it because I was dating her. I’m not one for crushing dreams so I tell her keep working and if it gets better then I could possibly do that but as of right now I’m not going to. But to keep it real she works very hard at it and it’s kind of sad cause her stuff is so bad . Making it in the entertainment industry isn’t for everyone and I see it everyday. I feel like if we was to get serious I’ll always be the boyfriend/husband that didn’t support her and she would hate me over time . Thinking about just ending it now because things has gotten weird she’s obviously upset about it and has anger in her heart. What should I do ? Should I just end it ? TLDR : I work at a record label , girlfriend makes terrible music
