I intermittent fast (Eating breakfast between 6-7 am and lunch between noon to 1pm, skipping dinner) and have a weekly fast where I don't eat between 2pm Thursday and 8am Saturday. Aside from 4 lbs/week weight loss for about 40lbs total now lost I've never noticed any of the things these people talk about in terms of mood. But I'm overweight so maybe my body has lots of fats stored it's using instead.

I'm around 185 at 6'0, and any weight loss I actually have from fasting (which I typically don't end up doing on PURPOSE) just drains my muscle, AND I only lose max 1 pound a week.
