It's much easier than carpentry or surgery, but saying it's just turning on your computer and streaming for 8 hours is rather dismissive of the networking and promotion aspects, as well as the technical side of setting up equipment and dealing with OBS deciding it just doesn't feel like working today. I know plenty who put a lot of effort into their channels and get virtually nothing for their time.
