Here is my play-by-play of the episode: 9:06 PM Watching GOT right now. Court scene is good. 9:07 PM Oh god, the forge scene is happening now. I am worried. 9:10 PM Bran-Jaime scene was good, but very short. 9:12 PM “She never fooled you. You knew exactly what she was, and you loved her anyway.” Good quote. 9:15 PM Goddamn, but all the adults from the beginning of GOT look so weary and wrinkled now. I love it. 9:20 PM Dany convo with Sansa treads the line between stupid and good. I keep going back and forth. “Someone taller.” Is good It ended on a drat good line. 9:23 PM I like it when people have convos while someone else is doing something, so I like Davos talking while running a soup kitchen. Kid is a bad actor though. 9:24 PM TORMUDN OUT OF loving NOWHERE 9:26 PM The Bran thing about his motivations is…interesting? Good? I’m not sure. 9:29 PM So Bran can’t see the future. He’s a memory. That’s interesting. 9:30 PM Wonder if we’ll see any more Dothraki fighting white walkers. That’d be fun. 9:31 PM Missandei and Grey Worm romance suuuuuucks. I don’t care about them. It was always stupid and secondary and they don’t even do anything anymore. 9:35 PM “Half cup” gave me my biggest laugh. And then the look Pod and Tyrion shared was golden. 9:36 PM This whole scene is making me laugh. Also apparently Tormund hosed a giant’s wife after killing her husband. I love it. Oh my god I can’t stop laughing at Tormund’s poo poo. 9:39 PM I like this calm before the storm episode. 9:42 PM Nine year age difference is awkward, but I GUESS it could be worse? 9:45 PM When Tormund says he’d knight Brienne 10 times over, he means gently caress, right. 9:46 PM poo poo knighting scene is good. Glad they did not go through all seven gods because that’d make it a bit overlong. 9:50 PM I hate all musical numbers in movies and shows. This one is no exception. 9:52 PM Oh poo poo, Jon never told Dany did he.

The arya thing was made much worse by the fact that with that bald head he looks 30. It’s a shame that and the part where sansa makes friends with her queen stunk up a good episode. I’ll bet everyone who enjoyed the featured characters getting good moments lives while everyone who got a good moment tonight dies. Maybe Lady Mormont lives to the end and becomes new warden of the north in the finale.

Yep, seems about right that Jon would beef it at tell Dany at literally the worst time. Fun episode overall, and hey we got that little Mormont meeting scene, that was nice. I was hoping Jorah would talk her into at least being an archer on the wall or something. Hit just about all the right fun little notes for me, I do think in the grand scheme of things episodes 3-6 should be the most intense and give us a really fun ride to the finish. At a minimum it'll be hard to outright beef the ending.
