I just remembered, when Bran first got to the other 3-eyed raven they were attacked by skeletons that didn't have much if any meat left on them, so really a crypt full of skeletons is still doable. That might have just been the three-eyed raven's home defense system though.

I hope they are cgi skeletons ala the clash of the titans to save budget for dragons and fighting

I work the Sunday night shifts in a pharmacy. For the most part it's pretty chill, but enough people come that I can't view the episode without having to pause every 10 mins.

Decided the best next option was to read goons reaction.

Completely lost my poo poo laughing when the Arya/Gendry scene reactions started.

Hello!
Anyway, my prediction is that the characters I don't like are going to die and the characters I do like are going to live.

Or is it the characters I don't like are going to live and the characters I do like are going to die. I get them confused.

The problem with making a low fantasy series that subverts the usual expectations, is that if you want it to turn high fantasy, eventually you will snag some tropes along the way.

C'mon, there is no more reference material and we're on the last leg of a series that started in 2011. You can cry about it being hamfisted, but most people want to see these character interactions happens. Yes it's exposition, but we're at the end. If it didn't happen, then there'd be no character driven sequences. You're looking at the wide plot. Look at the individuals they brought together. So many of them were crucial to the plot and development of the show. If we don't have a few minutes of exposition, then we as the audience will never get a satisfactory resolution.

When they're this badly written (in some cases, badly acted as well) it just makes these episodes drag in a bad way.

It’s the only thing that works given that the show ends in 4 episodes. I’d rather get something plain and boring that makes sense given the constraints than suddenly trying to squeeze in a whole bunch of complicated Night King backstory and motivation.

Brianne should shag both of them in a 3 way then have the dudes die off to zombies and the show ends with a freezeframe of her winking to sansa.
