Some of you may think this makes my parents bad, but I feel that Kim was becoming a huge burden on the family.

Once you develop it it totally destroys your metabolism on a mitochondrial level and it can be really hard to recover from. There's also the people who have the neurological kind that's unrelated to weight where your brain just forgets to make you breathe and you can just die for no reason
