My [26 M] Sister [30 F] practically invited herself and her daughter [14] to move in my house and I don't know how to kick them out.quote:My sister, Kim, screwed up in life so much. She got pregnant at 15 and the father left, maintaining no relationship with their daughter, who's name is Brittany. This sucks honestly. The guy who left her is a huge dick but my sister was a problem child. She would hang out with the wrong crowd, and skip school to smoke marijuana. She made a dumb decision and now has to live with the consequences. No, we aren't from the hood. We were raised in a nice neighborhood and our parents worked very hard to give us a good life. Well, as I said, my sister still turned out to be a complete gently caress up. I on the other hand, while not perfect, maintained decent grades and was generally not making completely stupid choices in my relationships. But yeah, my sister basically has a baby, the dumb father leaves. Well my parents worked very hard to help out, allowing Kim to stay and they tried to help raise the kid. When this happened, it became a huge burden in our family. Kim continued to be a hoe and my parents kicked her out when she was 18. Some of you may think this makes my parents bad, but I feel that Kim was becoming a huge burden on the family.

Sometimes abused people do weird things related to their trauma; in her case she may feel the urge to make sure that no one else in the house (which she wants to be a safe space) is watching that show. Sometimes it's up to abused people to learn to handle their trauma, not just for the sake of others but themselves.

Yeah if your past abuse is making you abuse other people you need some loving help. Lol how did that guy not kick his sister and niece out the moment they trespassed in his house? Like "oops they tripped and fell across the threshold so I let them stay!"

Walking in on some jock couch-smashing your 15 year old niece on your couch and not even attempting to talk to her means that for everyone’s health he needs to get them out of the house.

It's totally infantile and kind of a flag that they've got a weird parent issue, but an adult calling their parents mommy/daddy still doesn't make them a *bad* person. Just weird. I was about to say how the boyfriend is the one with a weird porn hangup, but then realized that that association is hers, not his. He just called it weird, which it is. On a tangent about women calling their male partners 'daddy'; it's squiqqy and indefensible. If a guy ever tried to call his chick 'mommy' he'd be kicked out of bed so fast he'd have whiplash.

I don't see anything wrong with women calling their fathers "daddy". Not their fault that the internet decided to hypersexualize the word in the past decade.

Uh plenty of normal well-adjusted women call their fathers daddy. The boyfriend is the one with the issue, and it's probably because he's sexualized the word. There's no other reason a guy would think that was weird. He's the creep, not her.

The threesome guy is gross if he goes through with it. Lot of you guys need to contemplate consent (hint: if it's not informed it's not consent) and treating people as people (hint: there are three people in a threesome)

therobit posted:"Lying is rape" is a scorching hot take. There was a guy I dated very briefly in undergrad. I was on the fence about staying with him because the longer we dated, the more and more conservative views he felt comfortable sharing. However, his birthday was in a week and I didn't want to be the bitch that dumped a guy right before his birthday. I decided that I would try to make the most of this week and make a final decision to stay or go a couple days after his birthday. We had a good time - up to and including sex. But he also threw a fit about my earning a large scholarship for school - "You only got that because you have tits, you have no idea how oppressed men are. I deserve that more than you." I broke up with him. Afterwards, a mutual friend told him that I had been debating breaking up sooner. My ex called and left messages that since we had sex when he "thought we'd be together forever" and I was "planning to leave him" that I was now a rapist. Somehow I don't feel guilty.

Once you develop it it totally destroys your metabolism on a mitochondrial level and it can be really hard to recover from. There's also the people who have the neurological kind that's unrelated to weight where your brain just forgets to make you breathe and you can just die for no reason
