I mean he can't drive it for an hour or whatever it takes for the webbing to dissolve, and then I guess the car will be covered by some kind of goo? Have they ever explained what actually happens when the webbing dissolves? It just disappears? What if he's got his clothes in one of his web bags and wants to change before the hour is up?

Anyways though I guess it's better than not having the car.

I wonder if Peter Parker, who is not Spider-Man, put any photography equipment nearby to take a picture of me, Spider-Man, who is not Peter Parker. That could explain the sudden flash, because Peter Parker, who is not me, Spider-Man, needs clear pictures for his low-paying newspaper job.

The car was webbed but he wasn't, ergo by Newspaper logic he's free as a bird!

I always love the arcs where it's implied Spidey is just always the NYPD's prime suspect for anything until some dude comes into the station himself to say 'no I actually shot that guy not Spider-Man'.

Has anyone ever done a realistic version of what Peter's pictures would look like from a camera hung up in one static location, set to take interval photos?

It'd be like a weirdly angled security cam footage of an occasional blurry leg or hand in the far distance.

He webbed the car after the bad guy escaped. Because he's an rear end in a top hat.

At least they'd be better than the photos he takes when the camera is still on his belt under his costume. I forget if it was the comic books or the novels but I remember Robbie asking Peter if he had gauze over the lens.

Again, might be misremembering if it was in comics or novels but it has been mentioned before that he's used cameras with some stuff like swivel action and motion detection, maybe a tracker on his belt (IIRC?) so that it should only take pictures as he is in frame. But yeah, still probably very basic pictures. In the comics he published a coffee table book of his pictures so presumably some of them turned out aright.

He has a cartoon camera where every picture is a perfect frozen instant, unless it needs to be blurry for plot reasons. Cameras operate at the speed of light, after all! Those odd shapes we caught were some kind of flying rod moving faster than the human eye can detect, and not at all moths.
