Ace Combat 7. Really good. It’s thrilling in a way not a lot of games are, the sense of speed as you rocket past enemies firing off missiles and dodging explosions is a hell of an adrenaline jolt.

Rhythm Heaven Megamix I know it’s a mostly a compilation, but it’s not good. All the nonsense with the trials and three different types of currencies and even just navigating to the game you want to play really gets in the way of playing the drat game. And the new games they added range from “fair” to “poor”

i'm being a little harsh. it's better than no rhythm heaven at all, and if it's the only one you have access to you should get it-- but after having played through all the others in the past month, i feel like the extra stuff it added outside of the games themselves didn't fit in

Super Mario 3D Land, but if it's like every other mario game from the last 15 years I'm probably less than halfway done after beating Bowser. Kick rear end Mario game, and it might have my favorite Bowser fights in the whole series since it's the first 3D game I've played that just, made you run under bowser on a bridge

Path of Exile: Synthesis (40/40 challenges) not as good as the last few leagues, IMO. the falling apart memories were fun but I did not enjoy putting them together in the mini game. looking forward to the next league.
