I enjoyed reading through Sargon's Encyclopaedia Dramatica entry. Despite the old lady and gay porn photos on the page and the awful language usage, it has a few interesting 'facts' about ol' Carl towards the bottom of the page (it's a long entry because he's been doing dumb poo poo for years it seems).

He said it was to prove banks were channelling profits from pedophile rings. Whether that’s a load of poo poo or not the UK courts tend not to jail people as a first resort for non-contact offences unless they’re a clear danger or there’s some exacerbating factor.

They can't help themselves, even when it means cannibalising the last vestiges of their own base

Don't use an antivirus, Windows has all the security measures you need built-in. Antivirus software is unnecessary snake oil that causes serious problems with regularity. And keep your software up-to-date.

Captain_Maclaine posted:Wasn't a similar provision to this a big part of why their last election manifesto went over like a lead balloon, particularly contrasted with Labour's? Don't these fuckers ever learn? I suspect that it didn't have anywhere near the impact people claim. The Tories grew their vote pretty significantly, particularly with old people. The main reason they lost their majority is that Labour hoovered up third-party/previous non-voters and i dont see how you can credit the dementia tax for that

Like basically you're saying that a bunch of young people, who have been hosed over by the tories for years, saw that the tories were going to screw some olds and that was what made them switch from green/lib dem/whatever to labour

You can optionally enable PUA Protection & Network Protection for added security. Some browser extensions may be useful: An adblocker (Ublock Origin) with some anti-tracking filter lists added/enabled is good for the privacy-minded.
