Working at a marketing company and also having empathy is pretty hard, even as an IT person. I had to work on a video problem during a meeting and they were talking about expanding to more markets. Key points that are totally normal: "We want to make the brand appeal to that gay mexican immigrant" and "target that consumer that feels marginalized because they're black and listen to country" The only thing in the room was white people and irony.

Accenture is huge and has people all over the world working on international projects, which is great for your cv and experience if you're in a developing country as a developer. As far as I can tell, anyone I've met who's worked there has rarely lasted more than a couple of years, so that knowledge churn can't be great.

Ford did the same, they got a low-interest loan from the government to stay afloat but publicly advertised not having taken any bailout, unlike GM.

MyBernie! gets beaten by her in a non-ratfucky way. hopefully she pulls him even further left on those issues she is to the left of him but bernie is gonna win, so whatever. also, lmao at that lady wanting to turn her dead boyfriend into an ad. id haunt my wife so goddamn bad if she did that even as a goof

well she thinks big banks can exist but should be accountable, which any bank significantly big enough (coincidentally much smaller than any of our big banks) will resist with force i like warren a lot, but she's got the michael lewis disease of believing in a kinder, gentler, more responsible capitalism.
