The trailer's just trying to hit the nostalgia buttons for all the dudes who were growing up in the early '90s that are currently having panic attacks about hitting middle age and want to regress back to a time when they were young, carefree and the media catered exclusively to them.

Really feel blessed to live in the same universe as the sonic movie Imagine if it were like, well executed and made a billion dollars. That'd be terrible, it's bad enough people are zombies for the perfected Marvel formula. Hope the idiot fucker studios lose a shitload on this movie. Once i heard gangster's paradise i knew everything was as it should be.

Subscribed. e: Not sure I agree with a lot of your conclusions on this particular one, though, especially with the shoes dictating the character design. It's a whole lot of justification for what's just a wrongreaded design. I'd imagine both the eyes and the body design were dictated more by the cost-cutting measures of mocap over traditional animation than skinny legs not working with realistic shoes.
