I really want to believe the Dash Wilder thing could blow up in WWE's face. AEW just signs Dawson two months earlier, hype up two months of 'FREE WILDER' and then have the crowd go apeshit when he shows up. Viola, you've turned couple of good wrestlers into hype machines. I have every confidence they have enough promotion savvy to do this (wow, I don't think I've ever said that about a wrestling company before) Sigh, it won't work will it? Does anything ever?

To me, WWE's ratings aren't a sign of industry recession or part a traditional Wrestling cycle in my view.
