She was a dumpster cat someone at my shittiest job ever found (they fired me the day before my birthday for asking "is there anything else you need me for" and leaving at 6pm every day when they said "no see you tomorrow".....when I was apparently supposed to stay overnight and psychically intuit that there was in fact more I was needed for), and she was terrified of humans and still is for the most part. She was the only good thing to come out of that job. For the longest time she would sneak into the bedroom and hop in bed at night hoping we wouldn't notice  I've worked with her a ton over the last few years and she now accepts pets from me and Dienes, comes into the office during the day to hang with us, and hops in bed every night for pets. She just doesn't do well with strangers, though she's started coming out with a few people who would come over regularly and she started to get used to them. There's a cat tax on this much text, though, so here she is in the office the other day while I was working:  And yelling at me for fiddling with a camera instead of continuing to apply ear scritches:
